RV Camping - Land of a Thousand Mountains

A small campsite in the village of Antfeld near Olsberg, right next to the hosts' inn. All around it, the Sauerland, the land of a thousand mountains. Marked hiking trails lead up to the peaks, roads wind through the spruce forests in serpentine curves — a paradise for motorcyclists. If you fancy it, you can visit the Ramsbeck visitor mine or take a dip in one of the lakes. In winter, it's off to Winterberg for skiing. Not big, but right in the heart of it all.1

Sights in the area1

Kahler Asten

At 841 metres one of the highest peaks in the Sauerland; from the Asten tower the view runs far across the uplands — the classic short climb.

Ramsbeck Show Mine

A former ore mine near Ramsbeck; a pit railway takes you into the mountain, the rainy-day classic of the area.

Winterberg

Winter-sports town in the High Sauerland; downhill runs and cross-country trails in winter, a starting point for hikes and bike routes in summer.

Möhnesee

A large reservoir in the northern Sauerland with a long dam wall and shore paths; the place for a day by the water.
