Crane View Galenbecker See at the Brohmer Mountains
A freely accessible meadow near Heinrichswalde, with views across the nature reserve at Galenbecker See. From the observation platform, the view extends across the Friedländer Große Wiese all the way to the Brohmer Berge. Thousands of cranes and wild geese pass over the nature reserve; if you're up early, you'll hear them calling before you see them. The site is simple, and booking is informal. At 179 metres the highest point in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, near Woldegk. A summit cross stands at the top, and the short climb pays off with a wide view over the Lake District.
Friedländer Große Wiese
