Landungsbrücken & Old Elbe Tunnel
From the piers, the 1911 tunnel runs beneath the Elbe to Steinwerder. On the far side you get the best view of the harbour without paying for a boat trip.

Fruit-growing marshland southwest of Hamburg, flat and laced with cycle paths. The apple trees blossom in April, which is the time to ride out there.
