AlpacaCamping 207
A farmyard meadow near Schneverdingen in the Lüneburger Heide, right next to the cow pasture. The ground is solid—you can drive your caravan onto the field without any fuss. It's peaceful here, with views out into open countryside. For children, the farm itself is the real attraction: animals to pet, plenty of space to run around. On arrival day, feeding the animals is part of the program, followed by roasting bread over the fire. Pietzmoor is just a few minutes away, and Brunsberg is right around the corner.1
What AlpacaCamping writes

Sights in the area1
Pietzmoor
The largest raised bog in the Lüneburg Heath, right by Schneverdingen. A boardwalk leads through the moor; on early mornings the mist hangs over the dark water.
Brunsberg
A small heather hill south of Schneverdingen with a wide view across the plains. During the August bloom everything turns purple.
Totengrund
A basin valley near Wilsede, one of the best-known corners of the heath. The loop trail is worth it when other paths are crowded.
Hamburg
About 59 km to the north, the big city for a rainy day. The Außenalster and the harbour easily fill a day.
