AlpacaCamping 1240

A small family farm near Zerbst/Anhalt, open for campers from July to September. Your motorhome parks among sheep and goats; in the morning the goats bleat – the farm uses their milk to make goat cheese. In the farm shop you can buy it straight from the producer; on weekends we also offer cheese platters and cake by request. Breakfast by arrangement. Nearby you'll find Schloss Katharina in Zerbst, a little further afield the Bauhaus in Dessau. Magdeburg is around thirty kilometers away.1

Sights in the area1

Bauhaus Dessau

The white school by Walter Gropius, birthplace of modern architecture. Cool and instructive inside, the go-to for a rainy day in the area.

Zerbst Castle

A Baroque ruin where Catherine the Great spent her childhood. The surviving east wing and the park easily fill an afternoon.

Loburg Stork Farm

A rescue station for injured storks with an info centre. In summer the nests clatter above the village, an easy outing with kids.
