A reservoir in the Eifel National Park, framed by wooded slopes. The shore path can be walked in stages, and boats cross the water in summer.
Wolfsschlucht Gorge
A narrow rocky gorge with a slim path running through it. Cool on hot days and short enough for tired legs to manage.
Dreimühlen Waterfall
A moss-covered limestone waterfall in the Vulkaneifel, further south. Worth saving for a day with the car.
