Pitches at the Sternrodt ski resort and adventure mountain

A parking spot at the mountain station above Olsberg-Bruchhausen, on the north slope of Langenberg — at 843 meters, the highest mountain in North Rhine-Westphalia. The Langenbergrundweg hiking trail begins right at your doorstep, and your view falls on the Bruchhauser Steine, four rock giants from the ice age. If you're not satisfied yet, let the Sternrodler toboggan run pull you 300 meters uphill and slide back down into the valley through seven curves. Mornings often bring mist hanging below the slope. You can eat in town or at the Gutscafe by the castle, where there's a small brewery.1
