Pitch at the ski resort and adventure mountain Sternrodt #1

Three and a half kilometers outside Olsberg-Bruchhausen, the site is located up at the mountain station, where Langenberg drops off to the north. The summit measures 843 meters, and there is no higher point in North Rhine-Westphalia. From the circular route, your gaze falls upon the Bruchhauser Steine, four rocky boulders that have been sitting up there since the ice age. During the day, the Sternrodler toboggan run rumbles through seven curves down into the valley. In the evening, only wind. Meals are taken down in the village.1

Sights in the area1

Bruchhauser Steine

Four massive rock outcrops above the valley, a national natural monument since 2017. The climb takes under an hour and pays off even on cloudy days.

Kahler Asten

At 841 metres one of the best-known peaks in the Sauerland; from the Astenturm tower the view runs far across the region on a clear day.

Möhnesee

A large reservoir in the northern Sauerland with a loop trail for bikes and walkers and sailboats on the water. The pick for a warm day without climbing.
