Natural Campsite Zur Lamaweide Hochsauerland
A stopover on the edge of Olsberg-Elpe, above a small barn. Three pitches, no more than that. From the narrow terrace, views stretch across the hills of the Hochsauerland, with wind and wide open spaces. Hiking trails and mountain bike routes practically start at your motorhome. You can get eggs from the neighbouring farmer, and in Lenis Stübchen you'll find homemade jam and Sauerländer honey. Fresh rolls are available ten minutes away. It's just a few bends over the hills to reach Kahler Asten with its weather station.1

Sights in the area1
Kahler Asten
At 841 metres one of the highest peaks in the Sauerland; the weather station by the Astenturm often reports the first snow, and on clear days the view runs far across the hills.
Möhnesee
A large reservoir on the northern edge of the Sauerland, a draw for cyclists and sailors; the shoreline loop holds up even in drizzle.
Biggesee
A branching reservoir near Olpe with passenger boats; the go-to for a swim or a trip out on the water.
