Camping Site Rhöner Auersberg
A farm two kilometers outside of Wildflecken, in the heart of the Rhön. Just one neighbor, otherwise silence. From the site, the view extends into the Sinn valley and across to the 930-meter-high Kreuzberg. In the evening it gets so dark that the stars shine clearly in the sky. There is no public restroom, so anyone wanting to stay needs one on board. It's two kilometers to Wildflecken for pizza and the supermarket. Hiking and cycling information is available at the campsite.1
