Cozy corner & pure nature between Heide & Büsum
A garden in Stelle-Wittenwurth, in the middle of flat Dithmarschen, with a few sheltered spots for camping. Eidersperrwerk
The barrier closes off the Eider estuary against the North Sea. From the structure you look far across mudflats and water, and at low tide seals often rest on the sandbanks. Worth it in wind or sun.
NOK-Fähre Hohenhörn
At Hohenhörn a small ferry crosses the Kiel Canal. For cyclists it is the easy way to the northern bank, without the long detour over one of the tall bridges.
