The tallest church steeple in the world, 768 steps up to the viewing platform. Ulm is about 28 kilometres away and carries any rainy day.
Blautopf spring, Blaubeuren
The deep blue karst spring below the Blaufels cliff, fed by the cave system of the Swabian Jura. A short loop walk is enough to see it.
Danube valley
Upstream the Danube squeezes between limestone cliffs. The riverside cycle path stays flat, even with luggage on the bike.
