Torgau

Campsite in Torgau

A large property in Torgau, plenty of meadow with trees scattered throughout. Three cats are part of the household, so dogs must stay outside. One night is possible if you arrange it with Manu beforehand. The site is basic. There's no guest toilet; those who need to use one can go into the bushes or use the bucket. The host provides water in a canister, and cooking is done on your own stove. In the evening: a small fire in the fire bowl. Torgau is located on the Elbe, with Hartenfels Castle overlooking the old town. It's about 49 kilometers to Leipzig.1
