Camping at the country hotel Bartmann

The parking area in Sendenhorst is located directly by the Landhotel, right next to the facility for swing and footgolf. In the morning, the sun rises over the fields; in the evening, you can observe wildlife. In between, there's the sound of golf balls from the course. If you don't feel like using the cooking facilities, you can get a meal at the hotel restaurant; rooms in the house are available for companions without a camper. It's about 18 kilometers to Hamm, and the Werseradweg cycle route leads from here out into the Münsterland region.1

Sights in the area1

Old town of Telgte

An old pilgrimage town on the Ems, cobblestones and the chapel of grace within a few streets. An afternoon is enough, and the lanes keep you dry in the rain.

Werse cycle path

The route follows the Werse through meadows and mill villages towards Münster. Flat the whole way, so it also works for a long day in the saddle.

Münster lock

On the Dortmund-Ems canal, one freighter after another is lifted through the chamber. Watching from the bank costs nothing and fills a quiet morning.
