At our forest hut in Saalhausen
A parking spot next to a forest hut near Lennestadt, surrounded by trees. The hut itself remains locked, but you're welcome to use the toilet, and water from the tap comes from the rainwater barrel. At night you hear the wind in the branches, otherwise little else. It's about a 15-minute walk into town, where you'll find a public swimming pool and a newly created spa park. Biggesee lake is a good 30 kilometers away. One more tip: there's barely room to turn around up in the forest, if need be you'll have to reverse the last 200 meters back to the asphalt road.1
