Time out on the donkey farm Wetterau

A small donkey farm in the Wetterau region near Nidda. The parking and camping area is located right next to the paddock: early risers can watch the two donkeys rolling in the sand while the chickens cluck away. Besides the long-eared animals, the farm is home to rabbits, a dog and two cats. Hiking and cycling trails start right at the doorstep. It's a ten-minute drive to Niddastausee and a quarter hour to Hoherodskopf with its summer toboggan run and adventure forest. The entrance can be tight for large motorhomes. On request, you can go hiking with the donkeys.1
