A fenced garden on the outskirts of Kriegsfeld, in the heart of Donnersberger Land. Secluded. From here, the view stretches far across the hills, a large tree stands in the middle, and in the evening the fire pit burns. Dogs are allowed to roam freely: the fence is secure, even narrow gaps have been made dog-proof. The host helps where she can. The Donnersberg, the highest mountain in the Palatinate, gave the landscape its name; it's about 36 kilometers to Mainz.1
