Thüringer Wald · Reurieth

At the Old Hall Reurieth

A meadow in the middle of Reurieth, space for three motorhomes, and despite being in the village center, the view stretches across the Werra Valley into the plains. Silke has had electricity and water installed, a fire pit is ready, and firewood is provided. It's not completely quiet: a village like this has life, you hear it during the day. The Werra-Burgen-Steig and the Werratal-Radweg lead right past, and hiking is available in the Kleinen Thüringer Wald. Next door, the local butcher makes Thuringian bratwurst. There's also a train station.1

What Hinterland writes

„Up to 3 motorhomes can park on my 1000 sqm meadow in the village center of Reurieth in GREEN surroundings. Although it's in the village center, the meadow borders directly on the Werra Valley with a wonderful view of the plains.“

Sights in the area1

Drachenschlucht Gorge

A narrow gorge near Eisenach, barely a metre wide at its tightest; boardwalks lead right along the water. The cool go-to on hot days.

Trusetal Waterfall

A built waterfall in the Thuringian Forest that drops over several steps. A short outing that pairs well with a loop through the village.

Erfurt Old Town

Thuringia's capital, some 64 km away. The Merchants' Bridge and cathedral fill a day when the weather in the Werra valley turns.
