At the forest edge and small lake: Holidays at the Mühlweiher

A paved square beside a manor house over 400 years old in Gleiritsch, at the forest edge in Oberpfälzer Wald. Opposite lies the Mühlweiher, a small bathing lake — step out of your motorhome and jump in. Fishing is forbidden here, as is open fire. Only self-sufficient travellers stay, a maximum of five days. The village centre with its village shop is a five-minute walk away, and it's also open Sunday mornings. In the evening, the forest falls silent.1
