Above the clouds on the Bavarian Forest
A site at the edge of the Bavarian Forest, near Perasdorf, with far-reaching views across the landscape. From here, hiking trails lead to the local mountain Schopf and up to Hirschenstein. On clear mornings, mist still lies deep in the valley while you are already standing in the sunshine. It is a quarter hour by car to St. Englmar with its treetop walk; in Schwarzach there is an open-air pool and shops. Otherwise, forest and wide open spaces.1
