The disused station by the small town of Lichtenberg, now a starting point for the hike into the Höllental gorge, where the Selbitz pushes between rock walls through the ravine.
Nordeck Castle Ruin
Remains of a medieval hilltop castle in the Frankenwald, mostly stretches of wall left in the forest. A short detour for days when you don't want to go far.
