AlpacaCamping 1695
A parking spot on the grounds of a winery in Buggingen, right in the middle of town yet still quiet. The sanitary facilities are well-maintained. A few hundred meters further on, a Straußenwirtschaft serves its own wine, as is customary in the Markgräflerland. The landscape is flat and warm between the Rhine and the Black Forest; it's about 18 kilometers to Freiburg with the Schauinsland behind it. In the evening, little remains of the town except a few voices from the wine tavern.1
What AlpacaCamping writes
„Great pitch on the vineyard's grounds, perfect sanitary facilities. Location in the middle of the village, yet peaceful nonetheless. Just a few hundred metres away, there's a wine tavern.“

Sights in the area1
Freiburg im Breisgau
The university town on the edge of the Black Forest, around 18 kilometres away, with the Minster above the old town and the Bächle running through the lanes — a full day for grey afternoons.
Schauinsland
Freiburg's local mountain, reached by cable car; from the top the view stretches across the Rhine valley to the Vosges. The lookout classic of the area.
Feldberg
At 1493 metres the highest summit of the Black Forest, deeper in the uplands; ski slopes in winter, hiking trails over the bare crown in summer. The far view pays off on clear days.
Triberg Waterfalls
One of Germany's highest waterfalls, deep in the Black Forest; they thunder hardest in the rain, the bad-weather classic.
