A place at the horse ranch
A site on the outskirts of Wesselburen, on a horse ranch for leisure and Western riders. Bring your own horse if you like; four individual paddocks are available. The shrimp-cutter harbour eleven kilometres away, with its dike and mudflat edge. A rewarding afternoon when fresh shrimp are sold on the quay.
St. Peter-Ording
The wide sandy beach with its stilt houses lies about twenty-six kilometres on; the go-to for a day by the water, even in a stiff breeze.
