Between orchard meadow and historic building
A stopover in Waldfeucht in Heinsberg district, less than four kilometres from the Dutch border. Two motorhomes can park here, flanked by a traditional orchard and a building dating back to the 17th century. In spring, bees buzz over the blossoms, in autumn windfall fruit lies in the grass. All around is flat cycling country. It's a good twenty minutes' drive to Roermond or Sittard, and the Nationalpark de Meinweg is similarly close.1
