Pfeffenhausen

Campground in Lübbenau

I had the idea to create a garden in the middle of nowhere that has no water or electricity. I want to give people something to eat that they can grow themselves and show them how easy it really is; all you need are composting toilets! If you bring wood for my fire pit, we're all set, so sit comfortably next to me, because animals don't always like to enter gardens where there might be dogs (although mine doesn't mind). And please call before coming over, just in case - otherwise don't worry if not ;)1

What 1NITE TENT writes

„At our activity playground of the Pfadfinder Pfeffenhausen, we have plenty of space.
Here you can pitch one or more tents.
There is no running water or electricity. However, we have a composting toilet and can fill a water canister upon request.“

Sights in the area1

Maria Hilf Pilgrimage Chapel

A pilgrimage chapel in the Hallertau, worth a short detour on foot or by bike. The quiet spot on a day that turns out loud otherwise.

Walkersbach – Kemathen Path

A surfaced path between Walkersbach and Kemathen, easy to walk or cycle. The route for an afternoon nobody has to plan in advance.

Ingolstadt

The nearest larger town, around 44 kilometres away. An old centre behind former fortress walls, plus museums: the plan for a rainy day.
