Andechs Monastery
The pilgrimage church on the Holy Mountain above the Ammersee, known for its monastery brew. The climb is worth it in any weather — the outing for grey days.
Augsburg
The Fugger city, about 22 kilometres away. The Hochablass dams the Lech at the edge of town, behind it the old quarter with town hall and water towers; the city day when rain sets in.
