Beautiful meadow, in the middle of the forest, pure nature!
A meadow in the high forests of Monrepos near Neuwied, nothing else around: pitches in the open countryside, directly on the Rheinsteig and on the premium trail Fürstenweg. During the day, hikers pass by. Otherwise just forest. It's about twelve kilometers to Andernach with its cold water geyser, and just over twenty to Koblenz. In dry summers, the site sometimes closes due to forest fire risk. Replies come in the evening, between seven and half past nine.1

Andernach Geyser
One of the world's tallest cold-water geysers; it erupts at set intervals, and the visitor centre by the Rhine makes for a reliable outing in any weather.
Rheinsteig
The long-distance path runs right past the site; single stages work well as a day hike, with wide views over the Rhine valley.
Koblenz
At the Deutsches Eck the Moselle meets the Rhine, about 18 kilometres away; the museum-and-strolling standby for rainy days.
