AlpacaCamping 333
A large open meadow on the edge of Bergtheim, between vineyards and fruit trees, roughly 16 kilometres before Würzburg. Many pitches, but they're packed closely together; privacy is in short supply. In the morning it smells of grape leaves and damp grass. There's one catch: the land belongs to a winery that continues to cultivate it and sprays the trees in the process. This isn't always announced in advance. The site is fine for an overnight stay, but you'll find more peace and quiet along the Main in Würzburg.1
What AlpacaCamping writes
„Nice spot to stay, though privacy is somewhat lacking with many pitches available.
Upon arrival, we weren't informed that the vineyard owner planned to spray pesticides on the fruit trees the next day.“
