View to the viaduct and railroad station
A meadow on a slope above Altenbeken, a hundred meters long and ten meters wide. From the two terraces, the viaduct and train station are in view, with trains rolling across the arches in between. Below awaits a fire pit, with wood available from the adjacent forest. The Viadukt hiking trail begins right at the site, and a stroll leads to the village center. It's 14 kilometers to Paderborn with its Paderquellen springs. Evenings: sparks flying.1
