Mühlhausen-Ehingen

Vacation in our garden in the hinterland of Lake Constance

A large garden on the edge of Mühlhausen-Ehingen, opening onto a country lane at the back, in the Hegau region. Views of Mägdeberg, one of the old volcanic cones. Usually peaceful, only occasionally a neighbour mowing. Ornamental birds chirping away from the aviary, a large fire pit burning in the evenings, wood provided. For more options, take the train: to Lake Constance every half hour, ten minutes to the station. Toilet as a composting toilet. Dogs only by arrangement, as there are already some living in the garden.1

What Hinterland writes

„We offer a parking space for a motorhome/van/caravan in our large garden (approximately 1500 m²) in beautiful Hegau with a view of the Mägdeberg volcano.“

Sights in the area1

Mägdeberg

The volcanic cone you can see from the garden. You can hike up straight from the plot, the short trip for the first morning.

Hohentwiel

Above Singen sits Germany's largest fortress ruin on a Hegau volcano; wide views over Lake Constance from the top.

Pfahlbaumuseum Unteruhldingen

Reconstructed stilt houses on the shore of Lake Constance, built out over the water; the classic rainy-day trip with kids.

Stein am Rhein

Medieval town where the Rhine leaves Lake Constance, the facades on the town-hall square fully painted; an afternoon is enough.
