Eggs and potatoes are available for self-service at the neighbouring farms. Adjacent to the protected landscape area. The house is undergoing renovation, visibly so. Bremen is 9 km away, Heidkrug train station is 1.5 km away.1

The town hall on the market square and the Roland statue in front of it are UNESCO World Heritage. Bremen is about 7 km away, a short ride by train.

The Weser ferry crosses between Lemwerder and Bremen-Vegesack. The shortest way to the other bank and the simplest way to see the river from below.
Ochtum
The river west of Bremen runs through meadows and fields, followed by flat cycle paths. From there the route carries on to the Weser beaches.
