Time out in the beautiful Odenwald

Pitches on meadows at the edge of Oberzent, high up in the Odenwald. Each pitch stands on its own. A natural stream runs through the valley below, and the view extends over the meadows downward. During the day, hikers pass by on the Panoramaweg Sensbachtal, and in the evening it's mainly the sound of the stream. If you like, you can bring your horse; dogs are welcome anyway. It's a few kilometers to Marbach-Stausee, and the old town of Michelstadt is not far away.1

What Hinterland writes

„Camping with a wonderful view into the valley or along a stream.

The pitches are situated surrounded by meadows on the edge of town near a natural stream in the spa town of Beerfelden.“

Sights in the area1

Michelstadt old town

The historic centre revolves around its half-timbered town hall from 1484, ringed by narrow cobbled lanes. The go-to stroll for an overcast afternoon.

Felsenmeer

A slope strewn with giant granite boulders you can scramble up over. Especially good with kids and on a rainy day under the canopy.

Marbach reservoir

The reservoir a few kilometres on can be walked around and swum in come summer. A short cycle or hike from the pitch.

Heidelberg

The university city on the Neckar with its castle and Old Bridge sits about 29 kilometres away. The trip for a fuller day out.
