Thüringer Tannenhof Umpferstedt | Camping in the Spruce Forest
A spruce plantation near Umpferstedt, in the triangle between Weimar, Erfurt and Jena. The pitches stand between the coniferous trees, right next to an enclosure with alpacas. Electricity and water are available, a Dixi toilet takes care of everything else. In the morning it smells of resin. Otherwise just coniferous forest. The hosts are not always on site; those who book contact them beforehand. It's around 14 kilometres to Jena with the Jenzig.1
