Belgern-Schildau

Spend the night at the Dahlen Heath Farm

A village in the Dahlener Heide, surrounded by forest. In the middle, the farm with a large meadow where tents and motorhomes can find space. Cows stand in the pasture, chickens roam the farmyard. The hosts have been building with clay for 25 years; there is a bread oven on the farm. In the evening it becomes quiet. In the morning the chickens are the first to wake, after that it remains peaceful between the trees. Belgern-Schildau is off the beaten path, and it's around 50 kilometers overland to Leipzig.1
