We have a meadow behind our house that is just the right distance to be unobserved and self-sufficient. We grow herbs in the summer and vegetables year round - and there are deer! Our 8 year old daughter loves to play outside with her brothers while you enjoy the peace and quiet, or chat over your morning coffee by one of the two fireplaces in the house (the larger tee offers additional seating). If it's late afternoon/evening, be sure to bring binoculars, as they'll help you spot anything that might have eluded us during the day: squirrels, chipmunks? The Elbe flows through the city; take 1 km downstream¹
