Pitches on the farm, near St.Peter-Ording
A working farm in Tating, less than two kilometers from St. Peter-Ording. The pitches are designed for self-sufficient motorhomes and campervans: electricity and water connections are available, nothing more. There are no toilets or showers, and dogs should stay at home. However, it's only four kilometers to the wide sandy beach, flat enough for cycling. In the morning it smells like the farm, and there's usually wind across the Eiderstedt meadows. In the evening: the vastness.1

Sights in the area1
St. Peter-Ording
The wide sandy beach with its stilt houses lies about four kilometres away. At low tide you can walk far out until the sand turns to mudflats.
Westerheversand
The red-and-white lighthouse on the salt marsh is the landmark of Eiderstedt. The path there runs along the dyke, an honest walk when the wind picks up.
Wadden Sea National Park
The World Heritage coast starts right behind the dyke; guided mudflat walks set off from the peninsula, the classic outing at low tide.
