Süplingen

Pitch in the magic forest in the middle of nature

A woodland area near Süplingen, on the northeastern edge of the Flechtinger Höhenzug, not far from the Mittellandkanal. The hosts live here largely self-sufficiently and carve toys from fallen wood. At the end of June comes the firefly season, a highlight for young and old. You can swim in the Canyon, prehistoric burial mounds lie scattered throughout the forest, and the area can be explored on foot or by bike. It's seven kilometers to Haldensleben, with the spa town of Flechtingen another eleven kilometers beyond. Evenings: just the forest.1

What Hinterland writes

„For us, it's our enchanted forest, where we live largely self-sufficiently and make toys from fallen wood. A highlight is our annual firefly wedding for young and old, always at the end of June.“
