Pitch "Am Pütthaus

A pitch at the edge of a field near Ankum, under trees beside an empty horse stable. The view stretches across the fields to the Ankumer Domspitze, Germany's tallest village church spire. It's peaceful here. In the mornings you'll hear birds, interspersed with the neighing of horses from next door. The grounds are fenced, children and dogs can roam freely, and there's plenty of space on the grass to play ball games. It's about fifteen kilometers to Alfsee with its water ski facility. Cycle paths start right in the village.¹
