Attenfeld

Overnight stay in the Altmühltal Nature Park

An orchard meadow at the edge of Attenfeld, rural and without much in the way of entertainment. You can park your motorhome or pitch your tent among the fruit trees; in late summer, fallen fruit lies in the grass. It's not far to the Altmühl, where you can cycle and swim. If you want to climb, head to the Burgstein rocks near Dollnstein. The Renaissance palace Neuburg an der Donau is six kilometres away, Ingolstadt a good fourteen. Evenings: grilling out on the meadow.1
