Orchards near distillery and vaulted cellar

A listed farmstead on the edge of Messerich, in the heart of the South Eifel. Dexter suckler cows graze on the surrounding orchards, with a couple of Shropshire sheep in between. Those interested can take a tour through the family-run fruit distillery and sample the spirits and liqueurs. Walks start from the meadow between fields and forests, heading towards Bitburg and Nimstal. When it rains, the ground becomes soft. Solid alternative pitches are then available.1

What Hinterland writes
