Prislich

Mount Elvis

A parking spot on the edge of a self-catering property near Prislich, at the old pump station of the municipality. In the middle sits a small hill that conceals a water tank; from the top, the view stretches far across the fields. Power comes from sun and wind, the old pump house is the foundation for it. Camping takes place on the meadow by the gate, next to a small fireplace. In the evening, it becomes peaceful. It's less than ten minutes to Grabow an der Elde, and Ludwigslust is another quarter hour further. Depending on the season, there's fresh produce from our own cultivation.1

What VanSite writes

„At the edge of my leisure property, you'll find a quiet camping spot. On the grounds, I'm working on an alternative living and self-sufficiency project.“

Sights in the area1

Grabow an der Elde

Half-timbered town on the Elde, under ten minutes away; the tight old core with its crooked houses fills a morning before the water calls for a canoe trip.

Ludwigslust

The former residence town with its palace and sprawling park is about twenty minutes off; the palace garden is the go-to for a lazy afternoon.

Schwerin

Schwerin Castle sits on its own island in the lake; half an hour away, the trip fills a whole day with castle, gardens and old town.
