The motorhome parking area "Weitblick" is located on the outskirts of Bucha in the Saale-Orla district on agricultural land. A short footpath takes you to the eponymous viewpoint, from which you can enjoy far-reaching views across the landscape. At the site you can purchase fresh quail eggs, honey from the neighbouring beekeeper and beverages. Hikes and cycling tours will take you to the land of a thousand lakes or to the little town of Ziegenrück. The university city of Jena with the Jenzig and Lobdeburgruine is only 33 kilometres away.¹
