Meadow orchard directly next to Tierpark Hasenwald

The orchard meadow with 40 trees is located at the edge of the Odenwald near Buchen, directly next to the Hasenwald animal park with its wildlife enclosure featuring ponies, goats, pigs and rabbits. The site is suitable for self-sufficient campers and can be reached via a short gravel track; in good weather there is plenty of parking space available. Just a few minutes' drive away is the stalactite cave in Eberstadt, and hiking enthusiasts will find worthwhile destinations at the Felsenmeer and along the Margarethenschlucht trail.
