Lots of nature, peace and pure relaxation!
A farm in meadow and arable land near Bassum, twenty-five kilometers south of Bremen. Camping takes place on the horse pasture, shady spots lie beneath old trees; motorhomes park at the farm on the lawn, at the back by the field path or in the meadow. In the morning the chickens cluck, children climb the stilt house. In the evening the campfire burns, the self-built sauna heats up. Two wind turbines stand nearby. To be honest: the B51 is a kilometer away, and with unfavorable wind the traffic noise carries over.1

Sights in the area1
Bremen Old Town
Around the market square stand the Gothic town hall and the stone Roland, both UNESCO World Heritage; about twenty-four kilometres north, a full day out.
Bremen Town Musicians
The small bronze group of donkey, dog, cat and rooster stands on the town hall's west side; rub the donkey's forelegs and you'll return, they say.
Schnoor Quarter
Bremen's oldest quarter with narrow lanes and leaning fishermen's houses; the stroll takes an hour and works in the rain too.
Archaeological Trail
A path past Bronze Age burial mounds, with more to find along the Klosterbach; the short loop for your arrival day.
