Baienfurt

In the orchard in the country

An orchard between apple trees, three kilometers outside of Baienfurt, where the road ends in the forest. This spot is for self-sufficient campers: no electricity, no water, no toilet—your own loo needs to come in your gear. A hundred meters further on lies a small pond where the farm's runner ducks go for a swim. Above, the Jakobsweg runs alongside the canal, and five minutes later you're in the Altdorfer Wald, Upper Swabia's largest forest. Breakfast eggs can be picked up at the farm. Ravensburg is a bit further down the road.1

What roadsurfer spots writes

„The idyllic countryside pitch is located on a fruit meadow between apple trees on our hobby farm in Kickach. The spot can only be reached via a road from the municipality of Baienfurt, 3 km away, which ends in the forest.“
