Raven farm
A farmstead in the middle of Milda, a very small village in the classic triangle between Weimar, Jena and Rudolstadt. Several pitches are available on the farm, and there's a meadow next door. It's five kilometers to the A4 exit at Bucha, and in the morning you hear nothing from it – just the village. All around is the Saale valley with its castles: the Leuchtenburg perched on its cone, the Dornburg Palaces overlooking the river. It's a short drive to Jena, the Zeiss city.1
What VanSite writes
„There are several pitches on a large farm property, which is located in the middle of a super small village very conveniently (5 km to the A4, exit Bucha) in the "triangle of classics" Weimar-Jena-Rudolstadt. Adjacent is also a meadow.“

Sights in the area1
Jenzig
Jena's striking local hill, about 9 km away. From the top the whole Saale valley opens up — a short climb for a first overview.
Lobdeburg ruin
Remains of a hilltop castle above Jena, around 9 km off. The path up runs through woods, and enough wall survives for a rest with a view.
Leuchtenburg
The castle above the Saale valley, visible from far off on its cone. Inside it's mostly about porcelain; a trip that works in rain too.
Dornburg Palaces
Three palaces side by side high over the Saale, with terraced gardens on the slope. Goethe liked it here; the view down the valley shows why.
