Friedenstal in the Oderbruch
A small meadow next to the hosts' house in Lindendorf, on the edge of the Oderbruch. The long-distance cycle route RE1 is a hundred meters further away. Otherwise it's quiet here. Electricity and fresh water are available at the plot; campers will find a dry toilet on the grounds. In the evening you can use the fire pit. Those who stay can cycle into the flat marshland — to Reitwein on the Oder or across to Kostrzyn with its fortress. The bathing lakes are about ten kilometers further on. Many come for just one night, on their way toward Masuria.1

The ridge near Reitwein pushes into the Oderbruch as a spur; from the top the view stretches far across the flat land into Poland. A short detour for the panorama.

The capital sits about 68 kilometres away; the Brandenburg Gate, Museum Island and the Havel lakes fill a day trip by train or car.
