Thierstein

Family friendly farm directly at the forest

A meadow at the forest edge near Thierstein in the Fichtelgebirge, with views of the castle ruins above the town. In the morning, it smells of spruce needles, and the forest begins just behind the pitches. The village with its general store and butcher is two kilometers away, and a cycle path runs nearby. The Czech border is around a ten-minute drive away. The A93 runs close by, but you won't hear it. If you want to explore further, head to the Luisenburg rock labyrinth.1
