Erzgebirge Idyll
A small holiday park in the forests near Breitenbrunn/Erzgebirge, with eight motorhome pitches set somewhat apart, surrounded by hornbeams. One of the highest peaks in the western Erzgebirge, with a lookout tower at the top; on a clear day the view stretches far over the wooded ridges. The pick for a hiking day.
Fichtelberg
At just over 1200 metres the highest mountain in Saxony, crowned by the Fichtelberghaus, with ski lifts in winter. The place to head for long views or snow.
Burg Rabenstein
The smallest castle in Saxony on the edge of Chemnitz, about 41 kilometres away. A short stop when you're heading into the city anyway.
