Pilsum Lighthouse
The yellow-and-red lighthouse behind the dyke in East Frisia, famous from the Otto films. A full day out, easily combined with the cycle path to Greetsiel.
Oldenburg
The nearest larger town, around 60 kilometres away: pedestrian zone, palace and museums. The rainy-day standby when nothing in the garden stays dry.
